Trust Awarded Grant to Support Junior Cardiology Researchers
We are delighted to announce a new grant that will fund two junior doctor research fellowships over the coming academic year, enabling early-career cardiologists to pursue dedicated research time at St Mary's Hospital.
Securing dedicated time for research is often one of the biggest hurdles for junior doctors in training. This grant, generously provided by our philanthropic partners, will allow two promising clinicians to step out of their full-time clinical duties and immerse themselves in cardiovascular research.
The fellowships will focus on projects aligned with the Trust's core mission: improving the understanding and treatment of coronary flow abnormalities. Applications for the fellowships will open next month, with a rigorous selection process aimed at identifying candidates with the highest potential for academic excellence.
